After the updating my Samsung A71's OS to Android 11 (One UI 3.1), i noticed that my video players cannot detect my OTG USB, it can be access to My Files but when it comes to Video Players they are longer syncing the OTG videos, i tried to use the directories from those apps but they cannot see the OTG only the Internal and SD Card. My video players are MX Player and XPlayer, both are having the same problen, I tried to use VLC which has a similar problem though it can access the videos on the Directory option but cannot snyc it. I don't know if this is a OS problem or application problem, but seems most of the video players are encountering the same issue.
Hi everyone, still the video players cannot read the videos on my OTG, it can be seen on the My Files but, XPlayer, VLC and MXPlayer cannot detect the medias on my OTG, it's frustrating, there is an update but still no fix, it's like the new update does not fix this problem, it's like the phone is prohibiting the apps to access the usb connected to the device.
I just bought usb otg so that i can transfer all my files, docs, photos downloaded movies and songs etc so that i can restore factory settings on my a71 due to multiple problems occured in this device since i updated the software last august 2021. Problems like screen discoloration and unable to support fast charging, but then my a71 cannot read the brand new usb otg. Krazy samsung! Any recommendations sir? Was your issue got fixed?
