Just recently bought my Samsung galaxy A55 5g, 2 days ago to be exact. So far, it was great except for the fact that the front camera takes bliush-gray sad looking photos. I compared it with the back camera as well as the photos I have taken using the front camera of my old phone (A52s 5g). It looks so washed out and has a grayish hue to the photo. How can I fix this?

Hi Nicadoodles,

Have you tried changing your White Balance settings?

Yes, I have tried it already. I have also tried resetting my camera settings, and reset my phone to factory data, but it's still the same. The rear camera doesn't have any problem, only the front cam that gives washed out/dull photos.

Hey Nicadoodles,

You can try and do one of these two things:

1. Run the diagnostics tool from your Samsung Members app to see if it can detect any issues with your front camera. Just having the result from your diagnosis is already a huge help in repairs.

2. Bring your device to a Samsung Service Center for diagnosis and repair. Our team will be able to diagnose and repair your boot looping device quickly.

I've actually encountered something similar to this and this may not be the same case as yours but, I did encounter this with an older Galaxy device of mine and the main culprit was the screen protector of cheaper quality that is covering the front facing camera, after replacing it, it was clear as day.

Though you might have a different situation, just a thought 😉
