I am not who's the culprit behind this. It could be the organization I am currently connected with or is it the apps connected my phone number. Someone has been using my phone number to send codes and links. This has started since March this year and I just out about this today.

With the tons of important activities linked with my phone number, I can barely check on my sms staright to my android default messaging app.

If anyone of you has experienced the same, can you please share some tip and advice on this. Thank you so much!

That's not hacking, and nothing to be afraid of. That's just Google verifying your phone number. To know more information about that, you can read this section of Google Support.

What he meant bruh is that it pops up even though he wasn't verifying anything at all. I suspect that his number was used and or phising.
