Samsung pass is in Samsung wallet now. So you will still save passwords in Samsung pass (inside Samsung wallet) after updating to Samsung wallet from standalone Samsung pass app.
In Samsung wallet, you can also save IDs, membership cards, and payment cards. I just am not sure if local banks and similar financial institutions support it.
