it's great, nobody but you can access it, even if you clear data of secure folder app then its content will be ok. However whenever you or someone else factory reset your phone then secure folder will be reset too, this is nice because let's say someone stole your phone then they can't access it after they reset your phone, but this can be a bad thing let's say you update your phone to latest version but things goes wrong and you have reset your phone then good bye with your secure folder
so my advice always have backup somewhere else beside your phone
