Hi all,

Sorry if this has been addressed already.

Was using a galaxy A8 and now have a Galaxy A55, as of yesterday (using same sim card).

Was setting up Voicemail on the A55 and tested via landline (works fine). Hubby tested on his iphone and there is a couple of issues.

1. his phone is ringing but mine doesnt.

2. he tries again and it rings twice and disconnects with a 'call fail'

3. he calls again, rings to the end and goes to call fail.

Each attempt to call, my phone never rung but I do recieve a text advising he has tried to call and no message was left.

We are able to text each other and I can call him no probs.

I had a friend ring on her mobile and she was able to reach my voicemail and my phone rang.

Any idea what is going on and how to fix it?

Thanks Rachel

Another thing to try is to delete your phone number and contact details in his phone, restart his phone and reenter them, then have him call you (try this first).

Quick questions, did you change isp or actual phone number? In any case contact your isp and delete/refresh your details in their system. Although not directly relevant, I changed from call only plan to a full data plan with the same provider. I also changed the phone number to a new one. This meant that the transfer from one plan to another did not process properly, fixed by them deleting my connection details at their end and me restarting to refresh them. This worked.

Ok hub tried deleting my number and contact details.

Unfortunately it didnt work BUT I deleted his number and details from my phone, then restarted my phone.

Before I added him back in we had him try to call me again.

IT WORKED!

I added him to my contacts and all is working normal.

Thank you Troubadour😃
