Ever since I updated my phone to one ui 7 the battery goes out fast. Now I've searched online for answers and most I see is this cache partition and I was wondering if it was safe to do. Thankyou!

Clearing the cache partition on your Samsung phone running One UI 7 is a safe and commonly recommended step to address battery drain issues after a major software update. It removes temporary system files that may be corrupted or incompatible with the new update, which can cause inefficiencies and increased battery consumption. This process does not delete personal data like photos, apps, or settings.

I had some issues with my battery draining faster than usual after I updated to One UI 7. What I did was reset the batterystats and cleared the cache partition a few times. And I think the most important thing I did was let my phone read the battery usage by itself. It's been about a week since I updated my phone, and I must say, my battery drains a whole lot better now, to be honest.

A few times? May I ask why?

I did it on a daily basis from the day I updated to One UI 7 up to about after 2-3 days. I mainly wanna delete any cache files that may have some corrupted or error files still in it. But it's just me, and it looks like it worked on my end. I have 2 phones where I experienced faster battery drain after updating, S24U and A34. And so far, they're far more better than how it was when I first updated them.
