Just updated my software and I don't know why ads kept on popping when I did not even open an app. It kept on popping even if I just open the gallery and messenger.

Sure, simply go to

Settings > Security & Privacy > More privacy settings > scroll down until you see "ads"

then tap on "Ad privacy"
then tap App-suggested apps

then toggle off the switch there

Hi aaui! Here's how you can block ads on your phone:

1. During setup, choose to opt out of personalized ads in your Samsung account settings.
   • Go to Settings > Samsung Account > Privacy > Customization Service > Turn it off

2. Block ads on Google Chrome.

   • In Chrome, tap the three dots > Settings > Site Settings > Pop-ups and redirects > Turn off

   • Go to Ads and ensure it's turned off

3. Block ads on Samsung Internet

   • In Samsung Internet, tap the three lines > Settings > Sites and Download > Turn on Block Pop-ups

   • In the menu, go to Ad Blockers and download a suggested ad blocker
