The new update suc ks. Android 11/IU 3.1 now removed the option of being able to choose what sim to send for dual sim users. What's the point of having a dual sim if we can't choose what sim to use anyway???? Why would you delete a super simple feature that helps us for texting easier?! I just don't Understand what you were thinking. We needed the DUAL SIM for a reason! And I cant revert back to Android 10! I literally just got this phone a week ago for the Dual sim features!

if that's the problem, the band aid solution for now is to use the Google Phone and Messaging app. In the end, we'll get used to for now.

Actually that's already in 3.0 and yeah sadly it's hard. We have to understand that the update was intended to widespread units which was the single sim variant. We just have to wait for the update to address thw second sim.

Yep agree @itsmeian. There's a workaround for that issue.

I am using a dual sim variant of my phone and I can choose what sim to use by clicking the three dots in the upper right corner while on a message thread, then clicking this one to cycle between the two sims. Using samsung messages by the way on the latest one ui update.

this is still a hassle compared to last time where you only have to click the send sim1/sim2 but thanks for the advice. ☺

To add, the samsung phone app also has the feature of being able to switch what sim to use when making a call.
