Hey guys, have you noticed this? I am currently using Galaxy A55 .

The video quality on the phone is good, however, when I send it via messenger/whatsapp it's pixelated or blurry.

Does this just proves or reveals the actual quality of the video that my phone does? And it just look good on my phone because of samsung's modification or rendering to make it quality and stabilized?

I also noticed this on my samsung A34 before.

In my Poco F1 and Xiaomi 12, it never happens.

I am really disappointed. The quality of the video is really important. I can't show the details I like to emphasized.

Samsung please answer me.

It has never happened on your Poco F1 and Xiaomi 12? I find that quite puzzling since Facebook messenger is known to compress video quality - maybe it's your internet connection while viewing videos? WhatsApp and Viber usually sends videos closer to the original quality, but maybe it's in your settings?

I know that messenger and fb does that. I still have those phones and have tried comparing/experimenting. Videos sent from my samsung is really becoming terribly bad compared to my xiaomi's reduced video quality..If we can meet in person I can show you. My internet connection is good as well having 300-500mb/s. I can send you videos from these phones via messenger to compare it by yourself.
Check the images below, the more blurry one is from my samsung A55 the other one is from Poco F11714963381486.jpgreceived_1122575899007634_1000001068_1714963376.jpg

They are both reduced in quality but it is very disappointing how blurry or pixelated the one from samsung is, considering its price and reputation in the market.

Thanks for sending screenshots. This greatly helps the community understand your issue more. And it is indeed odd. I don't have your exact unit, but let me try mirroring your issue. One last question - is it the same over WiFi versus over Mobile Data?

I do not use data because the signal here is too weak. But just to let you know, my mother to whom I sent the video downloaded it and posted on her story...The same video quality was displayed. I viewed it on another fb account and phone of someone we both knew but unfortunately the pixelated/blurred quality remains.

Mine is literally pixelated. The only thing playing is the audio:< it has streaks of color but the rest is black. When check my ither device the video shows no problem. Hope they can fix it🥲
