Following the advice of Samsung, I booked an appointment for a physical device inspection. According to the technician at the Samsung Service Center (2424 Tejeron St., Sta. Ana, Manila), the two phones with green lines on the LCD might have a stuck issue, and replacing them would cost nearly 30k. Now, I have two things to do: stop buying Samsung phones, despite being a long-time fan, and avoid updating the other Samsung phones I own. Thankfully, I discovered the green line issue treatment before purchasing any new Samsung phones.
For the people who's planning to update their phones, don't update your phones
Because as per the technician of Samsung it's not an IC issue it's a stuck issue

Hi. May I ask what the technician actually said? What do they mean by "the stuck issue"? Did they literally say that it was caused by updating the device's software?

After the software update, a green line appeared on my phone's screen. I took the phone to the service center, and the technician said the issue might be due to the phone being stuck in my pocket or the phone case.

Yes. That can be a factor. Unconsciously applying pressure while in the pocket or inside the bag. Therefore, it's not because of updating its software. I hope we can be more careful of our statements as your post seems to be implying that it is because of the software update when it's not.

It's because of the software update

No. It was a hardware failure due to applied pressure over time which coincidentally appeared days after updating the software.

Not at all times though because I haven't pressured my phone but got lines in just 1 yr and few mos. Meanwhile, my brother's and sister's phone which has experienced pressure for the last 5 years has no green lines

its hardware, why techs validate flex connector on the lcd is the culprit

the problem occurred while the phone was on the table, not in my pocket. Additionally, this type of issue is related to the integrated circuit (IC). Applying pressure to the LCD can cause black dots or other damages.
