go to settings and disable record with microphone. recording screen with internal audio may not work and muted because of copyright issues or update issues in apps and music

Go to the Screen Recorder Settings in Settings-Advanced Features-Screenshots and Screen Recorder and enable this option to record internal audio.Screenshot_20220831-101708_Samsung Members_9902_1661912229.png

Thanks nintendohelp for bringing to us your issue with your Samsung Galaxy device screen recorder feature.

Aside from the replies of our dear Samsung members here, may I add below.

As you are aware that, the microphone sound of your Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt will be recorded by default,  so if you don't want the video to have external sounds, you should record it in a noise-free environment.

Additional Notes to know, while using the Screen Recorder features below:

1) During screen recording, all operations on the screen will be recorded.

2) Screen recording for extended periods of time may cause your device to heat up.

3) This app requires access to the microphone permission to provide basic services.

Hope this content has been helpful to you and looking forward to hearing more feedback regarding your Samsung Galaxy user experience.

What screen recorder are you using? Go to Settings > Advanced features > Screenshots and screen recorder > tap Sound, and tap Media sounds, or if you want to record internal audio with your voice, tap Media sounds and mic.
