Been using Samsung Galaxy for a long time but its the first time I'm considering using the AOD Feature. Any insights or experiences with the battery life of your smartphones using this feature? Thank you!

It will surely have an impact on the battery. I personally have it on all the time (it is set in auto too), with a routine turning it off during certain hours. I turn it off when I need to squeeze some battery, but I rarely do it.

Was is a big impact like quarter of your battery percentage? I am considering the option where you can set the time when it can be enable and disabled

My battery details averages my AOD use to about 5% of usage. From my observation, I lose about 1% per hour with it on. Not that much, really, but this should be because of the more efficient LTPO display Samsung uses lately.

Thank youuu! That percent per hour is not much tbh. Such a great help. Gonna use it

Just keep in mind that everyone's device usage differs from another. Add also the device model. Fine-tune and experiment with your AOD to your liking. You can just turn it off if ever it's taking a toll on your battery!

Im using AOD since my S23u until now with my S24u. I don't see any major impact in battery usage maybe because I am using Smart Window case. 😎
