Anyone know why this keeps popping up on my Note20? Whenever I restart my phone (doesn't matter if I put my number in or not) this message keeps appearing?

It's getting annoying now! 🙄🙄

Hi Jazzie97, this may be due to your chat features not being enabled properly. Please check that your Messages app is up to date, then I would suggest trying the following steps:

Open Settings > Apps > Messages > tap Force stop in bottom right corner. Then click on Storage > clear data.

This should resolve the issue you're having. Hope this helps :)

Thanks Tina, unfortunately this didn't work for me. I even tried turning RCS off but the message still appears after restarting 😕

How did you get the RCS to show up on your phone?

Are you with Telstra?

Never mind, after updating my S21U, I now have access to RCS as well.

I'm on Optus network, even changing Sim cards to Vodafone the message still appears -_-

My work mate has the Note20 with Optus as well, and he found it active today as well.

I wasn't asked to enter my phone number, as you are being asked.

I'm with Optus but using esim, if that makes a difference.

Did you go into the Samsung Messages app, and the settings screen in there?

Hey @Dolgogi,
I'm using physical SIM, perhaps that could be why you aren't seeing the popup? 🤔 🤔

Looking at the screenshots you sent, mine looks exactly like yours.

This has me scratching my head 🤷🏽

Not sure what else to suggest.
My first thought would be to do what @SamsungTina suggested, but that didn't work for you.

Have you been able to confirm that RCS is working for you at least?

You could try turning RCS off, restart the phone and then try enable it, if you want it.

I just installed my Optus sim from my Tab S7+ and disabled the esim.

Didn't get that pop-up you're getting, and RCS/Chat was enabled.

Not sure what else to suggest, sorry.
