Microphone Issue (Note 10 Plus)

It was yesterday when my microphone started malfunctioning on apps that are made for calling (eg. Messenger and Skype). My microphone appears to be working when I record with Voice Recorder, when I call someone else via his phone number, and even when sending voice clips on Messenger. But the mic really stops working when I am calling someone via internet. Even my mic on games doesn't work. I've checked the App Permissions specifically for the microphone. I've also done restarting and force restarting my phone. I've also done reinstalling Messenger and Skype. This is not a hardware issue because my mic works on a regular phone call and voice recorder. Could it be a virus or malware? Has anyone had the same problem? Please help.

P.S. Sometimes it is working but I have no idea how and why. 98% of the time, it is malfunctioning.

update: I found a little solution to this problem but not a total fix. first of all i noticed that this alonly happens when I am the one calling them ussing applications that has a calling ang video chat features. If they are the ones calling me it seems to be ok (i dont know if it's the same on your case). now, for the solution that i found, call them first by using only the voice call feture then once they answered and you noticed that they cannot hear you, request for video chat. at that point they will already start hearing you. if you want to continue with the video chat, just go on. if not, just turn off again the video chat request. so in summury, always strt with a normal call request whether you want to start a video call or voice call only then once they will accept your call request video chat by clicking that icon to open cam to continue with the video call or cancel the request after 2 seconds if you just want a voice call. hope this will help.
