Galaxy Note2: Turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Location.
3: Uninstall unused Apps.
4: Software update.
Every manufacture releases a security patch every month to counter bugs that tend to slow down the phone. They also bring some new bugs.
5: Disable high power-consuming Apps.
6: Disable the Always On Display.
7: Turn off advanced features.
8: Use Medium or Maximum power saving modes.
9: Recalibrate your battery.
10: Make use of the Dark Mode.
See which method can sort your problem.
p/s : method 4 Software then hv to wait for next update.
These is too subjective.

Galaxy NoteDidn't do anything apparently and the problem just disappeared. I strongly think it's due to the update as my phone is considered stock type, with no games installed at all.
