I dont understand why every other Samsung device gets the update except Note 8. I have been waiting for the update just for the dark mode as I have trouble using my phone with very bright white screen. I'm sure many people would agree with me on being frustrated on the new update!
samsung never broke their tradition on release 2 major updates for their flagship tho. They do this because they want us buy their new flagship every years. kinda sad the only thing you can do is flash custom rom. s9 and note 9 will get last major update next month tho after that they get same fate with s8 and note 8.
yes I agree with Ryse answer this tradition has been use by many or mostly android company they never change this tradition forever for 1 million years maybe the wont even change cause last time I use to use huawei phone and they did the same stuff to me too to so this year i change to Samsung.you gotta change phone every 2 years if you want to keep up with software the want you to buy new phone that why they use this tradition as I call 'the 2 years tradition' or else how they gonna boost up business and who doesn't want more money
