So, I just read a tech report that said the head of Samsung mobile, TM Roh, has confirmed the Note is no more. What a shame.

Apparently, the note ideal will live on in the galaxy S ultra models.

I'd argue Samsung's foldables, especially the Z fold series, owe a big debt to the Note series. The Note really started the whole Phablet idea. It is, and will always be, the OG to me.

Not sure what I'm going to do now for my next phone. I'll tell you one thing I do know, and that is I'll never get rid of this Note 20 Ultra. Last of its kind.

Thanks, samsung, for the Note.

The ultra and the note were quite similar for the past few years. It meant they were eating into each other's market. Also the cost of manufacturing two very similar phones (differentiated via an spen) didn't make sense.

Now that there is a fold, I assume fold 4 will have in built spen.

Had the note 2 for AGES. When it was released, it was heads and shoulders better than any other phones for the next 2 years at least. It was ahead of its times.

Yes, that's what made me get the Note 3, which I still have today. I agree that Samsung started blurring the lines in recent years, but back then there was nothing like the Note. Even this Note 20 Ultra I have now is holding up against the new Galaxy S phones.

I agree with you. If it's the last note then I will be keeping mine too .

All is not lost! This year's S22 Ultra is sporting an in-built S pen and a familiar design!

Would have been on my wish list. Note 3 was brilliant - Note 10+ is disappointing. You guys need to address the green blurry screen issues. Not recommending Samsung to anyone until that goes away.
