Internet not connected is most likey to be an internet problem. But also the following. Does your modem/router support both 2.4 and 5 Ghz wifi, because it looks like your phone model does? 2.4 is slower but travels further, 5 is significantly faster.. If you have this option try wifi switching between networks. Also download from Play Store wifi analyzer (free) and, slowly, walk from room to room checking signal strength. Also, again, wifi analzer.

Have you got a new neighbour (or a neighbour with new equipment with its own signal)? Wifi is emitted to your device using channels. Wifi analzer shows you the load on each channel. If overlapping with another userl go to your router settings and choose a new channel You may also have a setting, not activated, allowing your router to automatically choose best channel.

Finally, consider whether it is not wifi but a poor download speed from your ISP. To check this open your browser and run a speed test. e.g. MyOptus speed test, Ookla, etc. My download speed in Mbps ranges from 0, 1, 2, up to 90 Mbps at different times of day due to others dowloading Netflix, YouTube, gaming. I have a rough idea of time of day these speeds occud.

Check if you're facing similar issues on other devices on the same network, if so contact your internet provider. Otherwise try deleting that wifi network from settings and try connecting again with the wifi password

My phone is Samsung S10e, had it 2years next month.
My previous phone was S7 and I still use it on WIFI as I don't have a sim card and still like the camera and way it works. Sometimes I will check internet speeds and WIFI signals on both phones at same time...they differ!

Examples of differences...
S10e video test:
26/3/22 @ 10.42am
Load time: 5910ms
Max resolution: 480p
= SD on small phones

S7 video test:
26/3/22 @ 10.42am
Load time: 2048ms
Max resolution: 2160p
= good for HD large devices

An additional network comment. I have an Optus wireless internet modem - 3G and 4G (this uses the same tower infrastructure as a mobile phone).. Early on I had to restart frequently. Then I found a suggestion that the modem was switching between 3G and 4G frequently due to varying signal strength. I found the manual on-line annd locked it to 4G. In my case two settings had to be changed, sorry can't remember the second one. Problem solved. If your internet is wireless and you want to look at signal coverage in your area load Aus Phone Towers app from Google Play Store (make sure to look at hidden panel on left to change various settings).

I had a similar issue with my s20+ it was driving me mad and i thought it was my home wifi.

I changed devices and the issue went away and i kind of just forgot about it.

Not sure if my issue was phone hardware related or if my s20+ could have just benefit from a factory reset (extremely painful to do)

My symptoms were 100% identical to yours as was the solution.

Hi @Mighty_Mouse, thanks for reaching out.

I suggest sending an error report within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring for this to be investigated. Error reports are sent to our team to identify any deviations in your device performance, once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further.

To send an error report:

Samsung Members > Get help > Error reports > select issue category > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right.
