I must have been too busy to not notice this update. I love the airdrop with my ipad and now, am I dreaming?! Last time I'm kind of disappointed that you can only wirelessly connect to compatible smart TV's and now, I can finally ditch the wires! Android to Mac! Good 'ol Sammy, you have a lot of surprises.

Android also has its own "airdrop". It's called Nearby share and it functions the same. All android phones have it built in. Android 6 and above I think.

Yes nearby share for every android phone, Samsung also had quick share work the same as nearby share but this quick share is only for galaxy to galaxy devices.
