Could be a nice update to have the flash available to use when in the 0.6x zoom. Picture quality? Nah I don't care. Flash can't compensate to brighten up the area? But you had the flashlight brightness slider option? C'mon now Samsung Clearly you're underestimating the capabilities of the torch. Just let us have the access to enable flash in the ultra wide lens mode. Shouldn't be that hard to have in the next update should it?

Hi Jyett,

0.6x is wide angle - the phone's flash is just simply not enough to fill a wide-angle photo with light (after all, it's a singular LED bulb, working both as the flash and torch). In comparison, a camera equipped with a flashgun has a much more powerful light, diffusers to help spread the light, and reflectors to help direct the light where it needs to go.

We're just not quite there yet with smartphones! 🤳

No, it's just a simple request come on. I tried using other camera as a flash and it work IDK what are you guys thinking about that the phone itself can brighten the flash on different level a flash on a thousand dollar phone or below is won't cost alot 😭

I am curious as to why Samsung has disabled this option in One UI 6. This functionality was previously available with the Ultra Wide lens on flagships within One UI 5 or less. One step forward and one step back, I guess.
