2 MESSAGES APP?

Anyone who experienced having two Google Messages Icon in the app drawer and couldn't figure out why there's two?

Dual Messenger doesn't have that option to have two Messages app as it doesn't make sense if it does.

UPDATE: Phone suddenly crashed while I'm trying to screen record and have proof of it. SAMSUNG ARE YOU TRIPPING?! AM I BEING HACKED?! 😬

Mine's happening in the app drawer itself. Not on the Home screen. But all good now after the phone crashed for a second.

I'm not sure. I was tyring to record the thing and suddenly all icons were gone and the camera app closed. Then all apps started to appear again and the 2nd Messages icon disappeared.

I had the same issue with Google Messages showing 2 icons after updating the app via the Play Store. What I did was, long press one of the icons and select 'Hide'.

I was trying to do this earlier but the Hide option was not showing. I tried to do it directly in the Hide my apps menu though and I only have one Google Messages icon to hide

So, the 'Hide' option didn't show on either icons? The only best bet for that would be to reinstall Google Messages if the Hide option is not showing.
