Galaxy S
I've been a loyal Samsung user since 2013, starting with the Tab A and progressing through the S5, S8, S10, and now the S21 Ultra. I also own a Tab S8. However, my experience has been bittersweet, making it difficult to justify my continued loyalty. I've never used a Snapdragon variant, and the Exynos processors in my devices have consistently shown performance degradation after a year or two, along with rapid battery decline. The most frustrating issue has been the infamous green line. My S21 Ultra, purchased in January 2021, abruptly died within months and required warranty repair. In 2023, after the warranty expired, I proactively replaced the battery at an official Samsung service center. Just a few months later, in November 2023, the green line appeared. Samsung's out-of-warranty repair cost is prohibitively expensive. This recurring issue, combined with the earlier performance and battery problems, is pushing me to consider making my S21 Ultra my last Samsung phone.
