Android 12 : Facebook crashing when i click on any external link

After recent update for Android 12 on Samsung galaxy s21 ultra, I am experiencing many application crashing.

One of which Facebook, when i click any external link, like news or blog.

Any one facing the same?

I am experiencing the same issue ever since the update to Android 12. Allowing Facebook to open links externally did not work for me. Really hoping for a fix, as this bug has been around for too long.

I have the same issue. Setting up Facebook to open links in chrome seems to fix the majority of errors but not all and I have also noticed links in Instagram refuse to open as well. Is there a fix for this as it's honestly the most annoying thing I have ever seen and makes me want to buy a OnePlus 8

Have cleared cache, deleted all data, uninstalled/reinstalled. No change.
Instagram links wont open also so this seems like a Facebook issue but it's a shame that Samsung/Facebook wont acknowledge something's broken.

As a workaround i've been using Facebook Lite app. Its works but the experience is awful!

I wonder how long we have to wait for a fix?

I have been facing the same problem. And changing Facebook settings doesn't work.

Confirmed, it's now been fixed! If anyone's is still broken then check system software update on your phone. I've had 2 updates since this. 1st one fixed it. Still working after 2nd.
