Is this the new UI that makes the apps not in full screen mode ? Is there anyway to make all the apps in full screen mode ?

Thanks for the reply. There are only 5 apps to do that. Example Netflix. The rest of the apps do not show full screen.

Oh.. for mine, it's mostly full screen by default haha.. so I didn't really care much. So I would suggest that u change to full screen manually for all apps. 😉 Cos mine is Fold phone, so I think by default, it's setting full screen for all apps.

Whereas if I remembered correctly, my previous Note 10+ also had similar case like yours, all apps set to App Default and I had to manually switch to Full screen, in order to enjoy the full screen experience. So I am thinking that rigid phones had it set to App Default, instead of Full screen. And a major update (Android 13) could have reset this Full screen setting to App Default instead.

Why the hell not ? That doesn't make any sense.

This does not work. The only app that works and is showing in the settings section is Netflix

Hi Mikey, the full screen functionality will be dependent on the individual app. If u don't see ur app in the full screen setting, it means that the app doesn't allow full screen. Currently, only a handful of apps are supported.

Same problem here, only Netflix show as the options in full screen with the new ONE UI 5 ... I try to find something in game launcher ...

No more options to modify the aspect ratio

You should go to Settings > Display > Camera-cutout, now you can change to full screen for any apps
