Can't receive text messages

Is anyone else who's in PH experiencing issues regarding text messages? I can't receive any messages with my Smart sim.

If your sim is active and your settings in mobile connection is right, try this; go to the settings, enter the security and privacy. Find Auto blocker. If the auto blocker is switch "On", turn it "Off". Auto blocker might also affects the network connections. That happened to my Smart connection too. But, after i turn off the the auto blocker, it fix the issue.

Thanks for the advice, but I just checked - Auto Blocker is already disabled. :(

Sorry can you tell me what to do/look for in the connection settings?

I tried using the sim on a different device, but it's still the same. So, it must really be a Sim issue.

Smart recently issued advisory that all 3g sims will be shutdown starting this month.

Oh! Sorry, it really seems that the issue was on the sim already, try to go to the nearest network provider (Smart) to verify the sim status, and you can also avail the sim exchange with the same number for free to Smart Telecomm local hub
