I am hearing impaired and have both N7 and N8 Cochlear Processors, one on each ear. I have them paired to my S23U via Bluetooth. I got the phone in May this year and everything seemed fine, not as smooth as iphone (ex iphone user). It has been acceptable.
It has only been recently within the last 10 days my Processors are constantly cutting out. Sometimes it will switch to the phone speakers or just keep playing without audio. Sometimes it just reconnects and other times I will need to turn off Bluetooth and back on. Sometimes the Processors need to be off and back on.

Has a recent update caused issues with the Bluetooth? The apps so far that are having this issue are Spotify, Tiktok and YouTube.

Update -When I have WIFI on, it is cutting in and out of streaming when I lock and unlock my phone while playing music on Spotify. When I turn off the WIFI it seems to solve it.

Also consider Googling "Cochlear processors problem" with or without "bluetooth"

Whether you are using 2.4 or 5 both have multiple channels they broadcast or receive on. Bluetooth is, in fact, another form of wi-fi. Using the 2.4 network as an example, it has aound 12 useable channels. You router may be set to choose the channel automatically based on the channel with the most available bandwidth. However, you can lock your wi-fi to one channel using router settings. Thus you can try different settings to see if there is no interference from a particular channel.
You can see which channel is overloaded by installing Wi-fi Analyzer by fastproc from Play Store, on a device which preferably supports both 2.4 and 5Ghz. No biggie if only a 2.4 device but you can't analyze the 5Ghz network..
So:
1. Load Wi-fi analyzer. In one of the screens you can see which channel your wi-fi network is being used.
2. You can't see bluetooth in this app so learn how to set.a fixed channel.for your network and try different channels. Turning off your cochlesr device might just possibly show a change in wi-fi analyzer useful but not important.
3. This app shows your neighbours wi-fi networks and, if close enough this might also interfere with your bluetooth.
Bearing in mind most users don't know about channels, if you feel their device is the problemm you might have to negotiate for a technician to come and lock their networks to a fixed channel.

Same here. Never been an issue with C7 or C6 - cuts out consistently when playing music. I will be reporting this. Might be there new Bluetooth tech they are using.

Cochlear confirmed some users are having this issue. They recommend (along sigh) to turn off phone once per week and keep software up to date. Not much help that!
