Accidentally deleted important voice recording in October 2022. Is there any way of recovering this recording? It is not backed up in Google drive. This file is crucial in regards to family court matter.

Since it is crucial stop using your device and contact a professional. (start with googling). Depending on the software and device sometimes the space used by a recording is progressively overwritten, othertimes the overwriting doesn't occur until other space has been filled. You are verylikely to make a real mess trying other things. If the recording software is an app seperately contact on another device the app provider and ask if they can help. If backing up copy sector by sector, normal backup will only use stored data and apps and ignore deleted space. PROFESSIONAL FIRST.

Is it in the Recycle Bin? I remember that gets set up the first time you use it.

Can also try downloading an app that can recover deleted items. Results vary though

Did you accidentally delete it recently? Or you have deleted it last Oct 2022? Voice recordings are included in the auto-backup to your samsung cloud. If you cannot see it in your recycle bin, you can check if backup is enabled in Settings > Accounts and backup > Samsung Cloud (Backup data) > Check if Voice recordings is enabled.

You can also check the status of your backup here https://support.samsungcloud.com/

My advise is if you have a spare samsung phone, try to restore your backup to that phone to check if you can recover the recordings. Good luck!

If it is recently deleted, it should be on your recycle bin for 30 days. After 30 days, it will be permanently deleted from your device.
