For some reason, only the Australian version of the S21 FE has only one physical sim slot, and no esim support, making it a $1,099 msrp phone with no dual sim functionality. Very disappointing from Samsung, why did they specifically cripple the Australia version? The SM-G990E in other countries have two physical sim slots.
Samsung also stays very quiet on this, releasing conflicting statements on whether the S21 FE doesn't have the esim hardware, or the phone has the hardware and it will be enabled in a future software update (and of course, the latest one 5.1 update still doesn't support esim, more than a YEAR after release).
The rest of the S21 series supports esim (S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra)
If having two (or more) phone accounts is important but bearing in mind you can only have one connected at a time in this option, have a look at buying esim.me This is something which is the size of an ordinary sim card and fits your sim slot but supports multiple esim profiles. You can buy one that supports one esim, one that supports 5 esim profiles and the last supports, I think, 20. Just be careful checking compatability on the esim.me web site.
