Previously, I used an iPhone, and one feature I really appreciated was the ability to manually select multiple photos from a WhatsApp chat and save them to the gallery in one go. This was especially useful since I’ve chosen not to auto-save WhatsApp photos — I receive lots of forwards, memes, and friends often reshare the same photos across multiple groups, which clutters my gallery with duplicates and unwanted media.
On my Samsung device, however, I can only save photos one by one, which is slow and tedious when I want to select multiple photos.
It would be amazing if Samsung could add support for multi-select and save, similar to iOS.

I’ve gone ahead and submitted the feature request to WhatsApp directly — fingers crossed they consider bringing this to Android like they’ve done on iOS.
