Not sure if many people noticed, but my S21+ somehow has less (to none) finger print smudges. This is comparing to my wife's A32 (or 37 I forgot) and my old Huawei P20 pro. It works like magic especially when I play mobile games. Love it!
Phone screens nowadays, especially high end ones, have oleophobic coating. Noticed this too when I went from the OnePlus 3t, the 6t and now the S21U. Not that the previous 2 didn't have that coating but there's been noticeable improvements since 👍
Mine still has fingerprints but and even what I recently wrote on the stylus just because I use a screen film. Planning to go bare soon but too scared to do it!
It used to be a huge problem, but improvements in the Gorilla Glass used in the S21 series have rendered it more resistant to fingerprint smudges 👆
Of course, there's always the option of installing third-party anti-smudge films, but you do risk losing a bit of responsiveness in your screen which could be significant when playing games that require precision!

Even the A71, a 2019 model, has that great screen and does not need an anti-fingerprint protector anymore. I left the screen bare too, no need for a tempered glass because I love how smooth the bare screen is to my fingers.
