Hi There

My Samsung S20+ phone can't connect to WiFi anymore after a recent latest software update on 20th Aug.

I have tried resetting my home WiFi router numerous time, all of my other devices are connected to same WiFi router without any issues at all. My Samsung phone, also was connected to same WiFi and was working fine prior to above update.

I also have spent few hours since 20th Aug searching for solutions via online community, online forums, YouTube videos etc...but no to avail.

It looks like that new software update disabled my WiFi card inside the phone permanently. Hope Samsung isn't doing it intentionally for older phones.

I'd appreciate if someone knows how to fix it for sure. Please do not suggests the same troubleshooting steps available on different websites as I have tried all of those.

Many thanks

Hey @Members_ay8Tkrp

Based on what you've described, I recommend for you to head into your nearest authorized service centre with your proof of purchase so that we can take a closer look into this. Please be aware that due to our Privacy Policy, your device may be factory reset before being assessed. I highly recommend backing up your device via Smart Switch, OneDrive and/or Google to ensure none of your data is lost.
