I got my Galaxy S21 a month ago and I have had several episodes where my phone overheats, then lags, then freezes, and will siddenly reboots/restarts. I noticed that I experience this while watching videos (on YouTube and Netflix, specifically). Having bought this phone because it is the best for media consumption, this is a big deal of a problem to me. And coming from an iPhone (which is a FLAWLESS device in terms of performance), I'm starting to regret the switch to android.

Is your firmware updated to the latest? If so, boot to recovery, clear cache & repair apps

Yes, my phone has the latest updates. Already did all of those, but the issue still persists.

As with your concern, whether you're using a phone, tablet, smart watch, or earbuds, all Galaxy devices have a set temperature range, where they operate at their best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. Also, make sure that applications running in the background gets closed regularly if unused for a period of time, ensure that your mobile data is turned off, screen brightness is not set to maximum.

If your phone is getting too warm to touch, and/or other problem still persist, repairs would be recommended in order to have the technicians evaluate the device. Don't hesitate to reach us via our TOLL-FREE HOTLINES indicated above. Hope this helps. Stay safe. Have an awesome week! 😀
