i find taking a screenshot very difficult on my S21.
having the two necessary buttons on the same side of the device is not practicable.
who ever designed the new model must have made change for the sake of just making a change.
i can think of no other reason for placing the buttons that way!!
who agrees with me?
does samsung really care?

Hi @GDB1951, you can screenshot in several ways on your S21! Like @Hammyy suggested, you can take a screenshot by swiping from right to left over your screen. You can also use Bixby to screenshot your phone.

If you would like more information on taking screenshots on your device, see this link: https://www.samsung.com/au/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-capture-view-and-edit-screenshots/

Hope this helps :)

this palm swipe thing is really difficult. is there is a trick to it?

i get my edge panels most of the time and it just doesn't capture the screen. i have to do it multiple times just to get a screen shot.

phone is 90deg, swiping right to left but not working most of the time. it also works left to right sometimes as i did it out of frustration

Hi nj1910, I usually have the edge of my palms and fingers flush against the screen, if there's a gap, it would register as a finger swipe rather than a full screen swipe. You can also be relatively quick while swiping, it's more accurate for me than when I try to swipe slowly.

The quickest way I've found is just holding the phone in your left hand and using your index on the volume down, and your middle finger on the power button.
