Galaxy SI just upgraded from my 4-year old Galaxy Note 8 to Galaxy S22 and this is my second day of using the S22. I have setup all my apps but I noticed that my notifications are extremely delayed by 30 mins to even hours. I am only receiving instant notifications whenever I receive a message on the Google Messages app or the Facebook Messenger app. However, notifications on all the other apps are delayed, including Gmail, Instagram, Twitter, Yahoo Mail, and even the react notifications from Facebook Messenger are getting delayed.
I looked around for fixes and I have already done the following to no avail:
Disabled Adaptive Battery setting
Disabled Put unused apps to sleep
Disabled Power Saving
Set individual app's battery usage to Unrestricted
Disabled doze via adb (adb shell dumpsys deviceidle disable)
Added individual app packages to deviceidle whitelist (adb shell dumpsys deviceidle whitelist +PACKAGE_NAME)
Even with the above workaround, I am still getting delayed notifications.
I have not had the problem on the first hour of using the phone. I also did a factory reset and the notifications were coming in instantly on the same first hour or so until they all get delayed.
Another issue is that app downloads or updates from Google Play Store is being terminated/pauses and won't complete at all. Clearing cache is not working. When this happens, notifications are also getting delayed.
Any leads for fixes? I never had this issue on my old Galaxy Note 8.
Edit: Issue is caused by an old LTE SIM which seems to be incompatible with the phone. Replace the SIM to avoid issues. Follow below thread for more details:

Galaxy SThis issue not yet solved. My phone need to power cycle to receive the notifications. Already set unrestricted battery power management. Need Samsung to fix this issue asap.

Galaxy SEdit: Issue is caused by an old LTE SIM which seems to be incompatible with the phone. Replace the SIM to avoid issues.
How do I know if it's an old LTE SIM? I've recently replaced my SIM twice but how do I know if they aren't giving me old gen SIMS? I have the same issue as you but only happens exclusively on Mobile Data. I had notification issues for ages on Wi-Fi but disabling Doze via adb fixed my issues over Wi-Fi. Issue persists on mobile data which is why I think I have your exact issue. What's crazy is that all Galaxy phones have notification issues but 98% of people don't even realize it. Notifications for texts and calls are fine but apps like social media, emails, games, etc have issues. Yes it happens to your phone people. You just don't know that it's not instant. It's an issue with Samsung incorrectly optimizing their doze configuration. Only work around is disabling doze via ADB and unrestricting battery usage for the specific apps.

Galaxy SThis is happening with my S22 Ultra. It involves at least two apps, off the top of my head. Has anyone figured out a fix?
Thanks for any help! 💜
