Hey everyone,

Just updated my Galaxy S25 Ultra with the March 2025 security patch, and I’m curious to know how it’s running for others in the community. Personally, I’ve noticed some subtle UI smoothness improvements and possibly better battery management, but nothing too major on the surface.

My questions to the community:

Is the March update stable on your S25 Ultra?

Have you experienced any performance issues, bugs, or heating post-update?

Any noticeable improvements in camera performance, display calibration, or AI features?

For those using Good Lock or third-party launchers, any compatibility issues?

In my case, the phones been stable since I got it, with subtle improvements with the Feb & March updates.

Do keep in mind that both of those updates were primarily security updates.

Regarding Galaxy AI, I had a relative's birthday in Feb, just before the Feb update, and the Now Brief didnt mention it.

However, last week (after the March update) another friends birthday did show up and it even asked me if I wanted to create a Birthday card. After taking create, it opened up Drawing Assist.

Also, a few days ago I noticed Gemini Live (listening mode) shows up in Live Notifications.

The camera performance is unfortunately still terrible. At least that's on mine. The colour grading is off, pictures are overprossesed, and they're generally not clear. I might be one of the unlucky few who got the lemons but I've had this phone for 2 months and haven't enjoyed it at all because of the camera

Sorry you are not enjoying it 😔 I've been very unlucky too and believe mine was a lemon right out of the box. I haven't been able to enjoy it either with camera issues. Lens issues. Excessive overheating, terrible battery drain. It's been sent away twice in a month. I love Samsung but it's poor for a top line phone.

I've had the phone less than a month. It's been sent away twice for extreme overheating, terrible battery drain, camera lens issues. In the process with Samsung of a replacement. It was a dud right out of the box! Never had this issue with any other Samsung phone in the past 10 to 15 years.
