Hi Members,

I have received my S25U (512GB) and have used it for close to 2 weeks.

This is what I have realized. On video playbacks i.e. FB Shorts, Instagram, Youtube, etc. across ALL videos, there will be a momentary jump/freeze/stutter, sort of like a video buffer at the TENTH (10th) second of the video. Now, this occurs every-time I restart a video on the said platforms (i.e., slide the tracker to the left to start at 0:00).

On Youtube, it's quite negligible, as the stutter only happens on the 10th second and continuing on the rest of the video, it's fine.

For FB Shorts and Instagram, it will get on my nerves as the videos are short. So it sort of feels like stuttering almost every other time.

Now, I have tried turning on/off all things related to the display but to no effect.

Things that I have tried are as follows.

  • Changing from QHD to FHD.
  • Changing adaptive refresh rate to standard.
  • Turning off the eye-detection screen off.
  • Vivid/Natural colour.
  • Turning on/off Super HDR+
  • Turning on/off Adaptive brightness.
  • Turning on/off adaptive colours.
  • Turning on/off AI galaxy features

Seeking possible solution ideas.

Thanks in advance.

Samsung, please assist to resolve.

Makes me wonder why they take so long to work on One UI 7, yet still unable to eliminate the bugs. Doesn't justify the long duration of One UI 7 development.

I just did a factory reset on my phone. After which, it was smooth at first. I turned on some of the galaxy AI features and the "freeze" starts happening again.

Now I can't roll back to its precious state even after turning off all the features. Makes me wonder what actually caused this.

Hi, the same thing was happening to me.

I was able to fix it,  in my case, it was an option in the audio settings. If you go into those and then go to "Sound Quality and Effects," be careful if you have "Boost Dialogue" enabled. This is what was also causing the slight stutter after a few seconds of video. Just disable it and problem fixed.
