Galaxy Watch 6 Messenger bug after June update

Anyone else have a galaxy watch 6 paired with your phone experiencing issues with calls on messenger? 

Either when I call someone or get a call from someone on messenger, my watch 6 continuously rings despite having the call already answered.

I am having the same issue. Hoping for an update that fixes it soon. I haven't tested yet...but maybe shutting off messanger notifications temporarily will help for now. You won't see facebook messages on your phone though. :(

So I found a better solution for now.

I managed to stop the messenger notifications from the watch but still receive them on my phone by going to the Samsung Wearable app on my phone.

In Wearable, go to:
Watch settings -> Notifications -> App Notifications and from there you can choose to turn off messenger notifications just on your watch.

Hope they make a bug fix soon.

Thanks, you saved me time and frustration trying to find where to turn this off. Messenger is worthless on the watch anyway, wouldn't even use it except for video chatting with my elderly mom's facebook portal.

Absolutely! I hope they update messenger's functionality on the watch so I can make/take calls on the watch too.
