Gemini cross-app integration

Has anyone been able to successfully use Gemini cross app integrations on their new S25 series? For example 'find the next Sydney FC game and add it to my calendar.' It just doesn't work for me. Neither does search to message. These are some of the headline AI features that Samsung is promoting. No luck whatsoever getting this going.

Have you actually enabled Gemini Advanced or are you trying to do this with regular Gemini?

I am accessing the Gemini app via long press of the right button. There is no mention of "live" anywhere

Is that a requirement? I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere.
The other thing I'm not clear on are the extensions. Apparently there are extensions for Samsung Calendar and Reminders but these are not showing up anywhere.

Let's try this again.

I just ran with regular Gemini, and sure enough, it works with adding stuff to the calendar, it asked which calendar to use and then did its thing.


I asked Gemini to find out when the S25 pre-order ends up add it to the calendar.

Ok, great thanks for confirming. I suspect that there's is an issue with Google Workspace accounts that use custom domain names (so not @gmail.com). I've seen a couple of posts on this.
I am the administrator for my org and definitely have Gemini enabled, but still no luck. Bummer but hopefully will be resolved soon.
