Is anyone else waking up to find their geolocation in Google has placed them in Donnelly Alberta and therefore their local weather provided is totally incorrect, as is the time? I'm in Australia. Started happening 24 Dec, been every morning since. I reset it using the google tip to keep touching the location button but it reverts back overnight. FIX THIS PLEASE SAMSUNG! I have an S22.

It's Google Maps that has my location set there. The weather app is just whatever is on the phone widget. All apps and software up to date. Son's S24 doing same, Apple phones in the house are not having this issue.

There are apps such as gps test. That let's your clear existing data and update again. Find one that you trust and try that.

When you go to Settings and scroll down to Apps look for the one relating to Google Maps (just search for Maps) and clear the cache there. However, this may not be enough, on the main Community page, top right use the search option to look for clearing caches including clearing the Google Play Services cache.
