Green Line on S21 5G, Samsung Is Asking Customer to Repair at Own Cost

Recently my S21 5G has a green vertical line slicing through the center of screen, as I knew this was clearly common issue happening for S21 and S22, I brought the phone to service center hoping to get the screen changed FOC or at least at certain discount. The customer service refused and mentioned that I need to pay the full cost as it is out of warranty, feeling frustrated and disappointed, I engaged the online customer support and requested the issue to be escalated. Today, the escalation manager called me and telling the same thing, need to pay myself for the repair. I had told her the same issue happened to my out of warranty S22 Ultra last year and I got it changed FOC. Even some of my friends able to changed FOC or at least only paid labour cost, now Samsung is telling the user that it is case by base review and no longer reviewing this issue. It seems like after issue started to appear last year, Samsung has never admitted this is an issue with their product quality and telling me that my feedback is heard and will benefit future, what future is there for Samsung if you cannot solve the customer grievances? They're not even scared of losing customer. I have lost faith with Samsung quality and it seems like time to move out from Samsung.

With so many complaints with the same issue (vertical line across from top to bottom) , it is obviously a manufacturing defects and not due to wear and tear.

Samsung as a reputed conglomerate shall take full responsibility and replaces the phone screen FOC.

Nah, this is just useless reply, already mentioned that even escalation manager asked to repair at own cost, what else can be done? Getting a service Director or VP to call me? Don't bluff me, Samsung

We can all move to other brands. But first take the issue to CASE. I have filed it with CASE. Collective complaints should help CASE argue the issue with samsung on our behalf. If CASE is not able to help us, we can take the issue to small claims tribunal and file it collectively. Whoever is having the issue please file it with CASE first.

Recently my S22 also affected with the same green line issues after softwareupdates, I got visited one of the Samsung service centre, they push the problem to me and not even bothered about the customers frustrations about this issues.The service centre staff behaviour are very worst also they not care about the customers problem. Am using Samsung phones and products over 10years, my last phone also affected with motherboard problems, Samsung phones reliability are very worst now, am going to stop using Samsung products anymore, better choose other brands.
