Green lines - Any Resolution?

Hi, so a month ago the dreaded green line started making its appearance on my S22's screen; and today they've started to multiply. This phone's only used as a backup unit to my current phone, so I'm pretty vexed about the issue getting worse without me actually using the phone.

I've read enough horror stories about people having to replace the screens at full price within this forum. But I'd like to know for those who've actually went through with it, did it actually fix the issue?
Cuz ngl if the green line just resurfaces a while after the fix, that money may as well be channeled into a better phone model IMO😔

another day another green line story

yes replacing the screen will fix the issue, but it can show up again, don't worry it will take another 2 or 3 years later depending how much heat you do to your phone

but you know i have some good news, if you really want to keep your screen after replacing the screen then do this:
1. decrease screen resolution to FHD+
2. choose 60 Hz refresh rate
3. use screen brightness as low as possible, but still readable
4. whenever you charge your phone, take off phone casing so heat generated while charging can be transferred better
5. (optional) fast charging off, another way to reduce heat but i know you won't follow this one

 

well the point is your S22 can't get much heat from inside or outside, i am pretty sure with my some advice can reduce the chance you meet green line after you replacing your screen

 

anyway i am only an A series user, but i use all those 5 points, including turn off fast charging, call me crazy but i am ok w/o fast charging

idk when will i get the chance to have an S Series, but i will do the same 5 these things when i get the chance, because when the day has come green line will be the true boss

Hi there, I has similar encounter, 2 months into using Samsung s21+. 1 green line appears and 2nd one appeared within weeks. Now my question is I do no have any warranty , do I replace the screen or get another phone.
