Hi,  I have just purchased an S25 Ultra.  My older phone is the S22 Ultra, which I use to take video's and photos of Opal, as in, the gemstone, to sell on my Ebay store.  Opals are very difficult to photo in regards to capturing the various colours  and brightness, and I usually take a video in Pro video mode.  I then use the Capture button as the video is playing to take my photos.  The photos look exactly the same as the video from which they were taken on my S22.   I have done exactly the same thing using my S25 Ultra, but every time I use the capure button to take a photo of the video recording, the phone auto edits the photo. This results in a completely different looking photo, that I can't use.  I have watched several youtube videos on how to turn of auto editing.  I have turned off all of the auto editing features on the phones settings but it still auto edits the photos.

How can I stop this from happening and get accurate photos from the video recording taken moments earlier?

While I haven't tried this, might shooting in log help?

Or failing that, this button on playing back video might capture a more accurate still?1739921242413.jpg

One other suggestion would be to take a screenshot instead of using either button (ie while filming or playing back) and cropping the image

I was looking for the same thing, but couldn't find a solution that solved the problem anywhere... Turns out in my case it was the night mode that was turning the pictures worse after taking them... 🫣 i wonder if it is the same in your case?
