Hi Samsung community,

I just want to get the most of my s10 audio capability. I read in some sites that S10 supports aptx and LDAC and yes,I saw the list in developer options. However, when I try to switch SBC to APTX or LDAC it reverts to AAC.

Anybody have a solution for this. Considering s10 is a premium flagship phone I assume there is a way to make use of all its features.

Thanks.

I found it! I mean from reddit😄 but here it is: The dev option doesnt work. On the sony headphoneconnect app, turn off multiple connections. Then go to bt settings and wh-xm4 settings and after youve turned them on and then turn on ldac for ur headphones.

Hi! Same issue here and I cannot find any solutions. Neither in developement settings and on sony app settings or not in bt settings (tapped wh-1000xm4 settings). Did you find solution for your phone?

Go to the Bluetooth settings in your phone, click on your wh1000xm4 in the BT devices list, and you'll see a slider to enable LDAC. You can then check this is being used in either the Headphones app or in the phone's Developer options.

Problem: In the Developers mode the LDAC was greyed out in my Samsung S10+. And when going into the Bluetooth settings for my Sony XM4's the LDAC option was not visible/enable.

Solution - Go into the Sony application(Headphones) --> Sound-->Bluetooth COnnection Quality-->Select - Priority On Sound Quality.

After selecting this option the LDAC was enabled in both the Developers option and in Bluetooth settings for the headphones.
