If you think Samsung Care+ is worth it, no it's not.

My experience with Samsung Care+ has been horrible so far. I left my S21U with Samsung Megamall on September 2 for the repair of a cracked rear glass, and battery check for bloating. The phone was otherwise perfectly working. Care+ staff created the case number for me after an email conversation.

It is now September 29, and my phone has still not been repaired, despite numerous SMS conversations with both Samsung Megamall and their contractor, Chronicles Manila. They've actually been ignoring my messages for over a week now.

I attempted to escalate this to Samsung Care+, and also got no reply. I have resorted to filing a complaint with DTI. This kind of service is unacceptable, especially since I could have just gone to Greenhills and gotten it repaired in less than an hour.

So if you are thinking about getting a Samsung phone because it comes with Care+, think twice, because it's not as good as it sounds.

No. It works. I saw others' posts about it. But in your case, it's sad. Hopefully it gets fixed.

Hello Bianx, the claim number Samsung Care+ gave me at the start was PHSSPHDG20210531000359CL01.

After I filed my complaint with the DTI, the Samsung contractor contacted me and told me that they have been encountering issues with Samsung's system, and they've been following up every day but Samsung isn't responding.

Thank you for your assistance, Bianx! I spoke with Samsung Care Megamall over the phone yesterday. They said Samsung's systems had an error that prevented the contractor from marking the repair as complete. They just manually approved the release of my phone instead of waiting for the system to be fixed., and they had the phone delivered to me. Sad that it took a month and a DTI case to get people to do something about it, but in the end, I'm just happy to have the phone back.

That is a sad experience. I've availed of Care+ multiple times. Way back in Galaxy S2. Accident with the phone screen got really destroyed. Came back like new. The S21ultra and this S23 ultra also suffered cracked screens due to "clumsiness" and both got repaired and returned well within 2 weeks. I'm in Cavite and my servicing team I think is from Calamba. Care+ is waaaaaaaaaay much better than Lenovo Premium Care for Legion laptops that cover anything but factory defect - now that is a rip off.

Hi. While I understand that we worry if our phone breaks however, warranty/insurance i believe is a benefit from a PAID product/service. Which normally is not included from something that is not bought. I hope we can be more careful of not adding fuel to fire.

Samsung Care+ is not activated? Did you buy the phone? May we ask how is it a ripoff? I have Z Flip4 and because I BOUGHT it, Samsung Care+ is included. It is not a ripoff as when my phone was accidentally damaged, Samsung replaced all parts for free that is not included in the regular warranty. Samsung Care Plus is worth buying. How did yoh get into the conclusion that it is a ripoff if you haven't even purchased your phone, your warranty, and even the Samsung Care Plus on top of those? Please clarify. You have the privilege to have won your phone and yet you seem to be ungrateful.
