Have an S23 ultra and since the AI update my charging port has not been working. Won't chart or connect to Android auto in my car via the cable. Anyone else having these issues? And did you fix it?

The latest update sets the usb as inaccessible, supposedly restricting it to charge only if maximum protection level is set. Go to Settings and search for "auto blocker" and turn it off. USB charging doesn't work when this is on when the phone is charging via a usb connection to another device. In general usb ports can be set to charge only or to other settings like, for instance, allowing data transfer, so also do some Googling, such as "changing Samsung usb port settings" You may need to turn on the Developer opttion but that depends on the Google advice. Mad bu.gers, when I originally saw this in a description of changes from the 6.1 /AI update I wondered how many users would be inconvenienced.
