Hi there, its been about 48 hours since my One UI 6 update got installed on my S22U, which have been waiting since ages, as it seems. Many many positive things be it battery optimisation, better good lock option, animations getting smoother.. the only negative thing which is kind of irritating I found is as below; Wanted to see if someone else found this, or am I just the one geeky here to try that!
- So, I have been using bixby routines, since they announced to make my phone automated with regards to sounds, and vibration profiles. Ever since samsung Introduced modes, have been using that as it makes my job much easier. I have modes depending on the wifi connection as "home" mode, and whenever I disconnect wifi, it automatically switches to "Work" mode.
- Before this One UI 6 update, the transition between both modes wasn't smooth as per say, but man it was way better and smooth compare to what I am facing now. As now, before automatically transitioning to "work" mode, my phone goes to default mode, which is kind no modes selected then switches to "work" mode. So, basically taking 15 to 20 seconds of changing different wallpapers, lock screens and sound profiles. And the phone keeps sending me notifications of it.. so which means continuous vibrations and notifications for 15 to 20 seconds, and bear in mind the phone wont let me do anything let alone unlock the phone or amything.
- Yesterday I left my house, and at that moment I got call, a very important call, and the phone was switching between modes, and made me lose a contract because of this..
- I'd really appreciate of someone has a fix for this, or I had to just accept it..
That's just 1 problem only I mentioned bruv.. just about switching between modes.. coz rest is butter smooth.. and especially, my galaxy buds 2 seamless connection is now actually seamless.. And, if my reply earlier didn't convey properly.. is I tried factory reset 2 times.. but, still the automatic swith between modes seems laggy..
That's it, Fam! May be I can reduce it by removing conditions. But it wont make auto switch.. You know what.. 15 seconds aint problemo.. lets wait for 6.1! Probably next year for s22U.. 🤣🤣
