This is very disappointing.. seems like a lot of users are experiencing the same issue (including myself).

Updated my S21Fe in June24 and shortly after a streak of line appear on my screen. Submitted reuqest in samsung app and was told to troubleshoot but to no success in resolving it..

A few days later, another streak of line appeared. All this while, with no hard knocks, no phone dropping or no trauma done to my phone. Samsung suggested to go to the service center at a cost and further fees (depending on the issue).

If so many users are experiencing the same thing, isn't this a situation that warrants samsung's attention? Could it be batch issue? Samsung shouldn't penalise genuine cases and expect their customers who are loyal to them to pay.

Update: Do reach out to Samsung SG via their social media (Facebook messenger or Instagram) on your issue and their representative will reach out to you shortly after.

That was what I did and after informing my stance and situation, they offered a complementary change of lcd screen but with a payment of labour/evaluation fee.

Do note that while they may offer this, should they find any tampering, signs of trauma, damage due to moisture etc to the phone, the offer will not be valid.

Hope the above helps.

U may try visiting every service centre and see which service centre is offering free replacement of the LCD on goodwill basis. Why I am saying is because the service varies across the different service centres and customer service officers. If u encounter into a by-law customer service officer, tough luck. But if u encounter a nice customer service officer, the chance of getting the LCD replaced is much higher. Of cos u may say.. why do I have to do all these just to get a free LCD replacement.. well.. service centres if I am not wrong are just franchisees of Samsung repair. They are the official repair stores for Samsung Singapore. So can say it's run by different individual landlord. So u may decide if u wish to go all out to get it repaired, or the very last resort is to get a new phone.

Looks like this recall is not going to happen in Singapore.

You boycott Samsung products how will Samsung know?

It's either we do what we can to fix it or buy a new phone. You decide!

It's my decision to move away from Samsung after years of using the S SERIES. Already got my new phone & not going to replace the lcd screen.

As for me, I was reluctant to change phones when it wasn't my fault so I did what I can to get the foc LCD replacement. If it was unsuccessful, then I would switch to another brand of new phone.

I also facing the same issue after doing an updates on my S21. Brought my phone to Samsung Service Centre and was told to pay for the replacement of LCD. I think I will give up on Samsung phone in future.
