My wife has a new S24 and transferred from S8. Mostly successfully.
Problem: when she tries to look up a contact (tapping on the name in the contacts tab) a blank page opens and some message about converting to multimedia flashes through. But no page opens where a message could be composed.
We may have stuffed up at some point when given the option Samsung or Google messenger but attempted to revert to Samsung (and the settings app confirms Samsung as default). When Google is used as messenger app, all contacts display as desired.
Question: how do we get back to fully functional Samsung messages?
Thanks for any helpful suggestions.
I understand that some people consider Google superior but don't want to discuss that here.
