Modes and Routines Tips and Tricks

I was wondering if anyone have been using this "Modes and Routines" in our device?

I normally use Modes, which I find useful.

Routines not much, looking for suggestions or what have you guys configured.

Routines is a really great feature. I used to have a routine that would open a game every 5PM to claim the free chest and then close the game right after. Or you could have a routine that opens a specific app if you use your left index finger to open the phone. There's really a lot you could automate with Routines, you just need to have a little creativity 😊

It was in my old N20U. I haven't messed with the Routines on this S23U as I'm planning to have it replaced/returned but will try to replicate and send here

Besides modes, Samsung phones also have routines. Like modes, routines set conditions and actions. However, there are some important differences. Only one mode can be active at a time, but multiple routines can run simultaneously. Modes can be manually enabled, but routines are only triggered when certain set conditions are met.

I have a routine to automatically open Spotify and play something as soon as my phone connects to my car.

I have a routine that turns off wifi and turns on mobile data as soon as I leave the house. Then do the reverse (data off, wifi on) when I get back.

I have a routine that rotates through a collection of watchfaces at a given time and applies them.

Routines is pretty powerful when utilized correctly. Besides customization, Samsung should push this more. It's one of the areas where Samsung one ups Apple big time.

My charging routine is set to stop at 92%
Do not disturb routine mute all notifications
Drive for Android auto but moved to Android HU so now it only connects calls
